What we’re proposing to do
Over the last decade ArtSHINE has offered a practical and real world approach to creative commercialisation, licensing, and entrepreneurial education to individual Creative Industries Professionals through one to one coaching and non-accredited training programs. In these programs ArtSHINE has provided all the skills, experiences, and support a Creative Industries Professional needs to take a creative practice to the next level.
We are proposing to establish a ‘Registered Training Organisation’ (RTO) so we may reach a larger audience, help more Creatives at greater scale, and offer formal, nationally accredited, qualifications as an additional part of our programs.
An RTO is a training provider registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver nationally recognised Vocational Education & Training (VET).
As an RTO, we are proposing to deliver nationally accredited qualifications at Certificate IV and at Diploma level.
At this point in the process we’re seeking comment on our proposals through this short survey. It would take you three to five minutes to respond.

Specialist accredited training in Entrepreneurship for Creative Industries Professionals
ArtSHINE has been offering a range of specialist coaching programs to individual Creative Industries Professionals in Australia, and around the world, for more than a decade. This range includes non-accredited Launch Pad, Accelerator, and coaching programs as well as some non-accredited short courses in art licensing and commercialisation.
Clients and stakeholders have expressed interest in having a nationally recognised qualification included in ArtSHINE programs. This would help Creatives establish financially viable business ventures and make the transition from part time hobbyist to full time employment in their own creative practice. Being able to deliver a genuine product and/or service, and commercialise their creative practice, means a Creative is better able to make a sustainable income from their creative work.
ArtSHINE believes there is a significant need for a specialised course in business and entrepreneurship focused on the specific and unique needs of Creative Industries Professionals. Do you?

We’re seeking stakeholders to join our industry panel / advisory group
In the decade ArtSHINE has been offering specialist coaching programs to individual Creative Industries Professionals we’ve helped hundreds of people.
By making application to become a ‘Registered Training Organisation’ (RTO) ArtSHINE plans to help hundreds more by including nationally accredited qualifications as an additional part of our programs. This will significantly scale and formalise our educational approach.
As part of the process of establishing an RTO and developing a new, accredited course, we are establishing an industry engagement group / advisory panel. This panel will comment, provide feedback, and ensure this important work is designed with industry, supports industry outcomes, and addresses skill shortages.
At this point in the process we’re seeking your comment on our proposals, and an expression of interest through this short survey.
